Product Overview
The SFP-CWDM-SM-xx is a high-performance, hot-pluggable Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver series. It is engineered for single-mode fiber (SMF) communications, supporting multi-rate data links up to 2.67Gbps and transmission distances up to 80km.Featuring 18 standard CWDM wavelengths (1270nm to 1610nm) with 20nm spacing, this series allows network operators to scale bandwidth efficiently in metropolitan access and core networks without laying new fiber optic cables. Fully compliant with SFP MSA, SFF-8472, and SDH/SONET standards, it ensures seamless interoperability with major industry switches and routers.
Key Features
Multi-Rate Flexibility: Optimized for data rates ranging from 155Mbps up to 2.67Gbps.
Class 1 Laser Safety: Certified compliant with international EN 60825-1 eye safety standards.
Industry Standard Compliance: Fully compliant with SFP MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) and SFF-8472 digital diagnostic monitoring specifications.
Hot-Pluggable Design: Maximizes uptime by allowing installation and replacement without powering down the host system.
Duplex LC Connector: Features a standard duplex LC interface for secure, low-loss optical termination.
Single Power Supply: Operates on a standard 3.3V single power supply with low power consumption.

Wavelength Configuration Notes (“xx” Coding Rule):
“xx” refers to the specific CWDM wavelength. For example, xx=27 represents 1270nm, and xx=61 represents 1610nm.
Standard grid wavelengths are available from 1270nm to 1610nm, increasing in 20nm increments (18 channels total: 1270, 1290, 1310 … 1610nm).
