Optical transceivers are pluggable modules that let a switch, router, server NIC, or transport platform send and receive network traffic over fiber. They are chosen because they separate the host hardware from the physical link: you can select the optics that fit the port, fiber plant, reach, and operating environment instead of replacing the entire device. That flexibility has limits. A module that fits physically can still fail to link because its electrical interface, coded identity, wavelength plan, connector, or fiber type is wrong. A sound purchase starts with the host port and the installed cable plant—not with the lowest module price.

OPTONE has no strict MOQ for standard products. We accept orders from 1 piece for sample testing. For bulk orders, we offer tiered pricing with better rates at higher quantities.

Yes. We offer full OEM services including custom EEPROM coding for specific switch platforms, private label packaging, and custom firmware. ODM services are available for customers requiring custom form factors or specifications.

What is the lead time for standard products?

In-stock standard products ship within 48 hours. For custom-coded OEM products, lead time is typically 3-7 business days. Large volume orders may require 2-4 weeks.

What warranty do you provide?

All OPTONE products come with a 3-year warranty. We provide RMA service for defective products and lifetime technical support.

Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We offer sample orders for evaluation purposes. Contact our sales team to arrange sample shipment. Sample costs may be refunded against bulk orders.
