The OPT-M2200 Series is designed to make conversion between 1000Base-FX to 10/100/1000Base-TX Gigabit Ethernet. With SNMP agent and web-based management, the network administrator can logon the converter to monitor, configure and control the activity of each port. In addition, the converter implements bandwidth rating management capability via the intelligent software. The overall network management is enhanced, and the network efficiency is also improved to accommodate and deliver high bandwidth applications.

The OPTONE Managed 10/100/1000M Gigabit Media Converter (OPT-M2200 & OPT-M3200 Series) is a carrier-grade, highly reliable network device designed to bridge standard 10/100/1000Base-T copper networks with high-speed 1000Base-FX fiber optic backbones. Featuring robust SNMP v1/v2c and WEB-based management interfaces, this converter allows network administrators to centrally monitor link status, configure traffic, and perform diagnostics remotely.

Engineered with advanced maintenance features—including Link Fault Pass-through (LFP), Loopback testing, 64Kbps granular rate limiting, and remote power-off alarms—this series extends transmission distances from 550m up to 120km.
