What is DDM/DOM and do your modules support it?

Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), also called Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), allows real-time monitoring of transceiver parameters including temperature, supply voltage, TX/RX optical power, and laser bias current. All OPTONE transceivers support DDM/DOM.

What is the warranty on optical transceivers?

OPTONE provides a 3-year warranty on all optical transceivers. We offer lifetime technical support and RMA service for defective products.

Can you provide custom-coded transceivers for specific OEM platforms?

Yes. We provide custom EEPROM coding for any OEM platform. Simply provide the target switch model and we will program the modules accordingly. OEM/ODM private labeling is also available.
